According to Online Media Daily, Google will roll out Gadget Ads by the end of 2007. These ads would be interactive in nature and can accommodate dynamic advertising content based on the “user experience”. Google is even readying their Analytics package to track the performance of such ads.
Media companies will be watching this space with great interest. A new market of Gadget-Ads-Making is on the making. According to Zal Bilimoria, product marketing manager, Google. “Anyone who can build a Web site can have a Gadget Ad.”
