Great Blog and post…I guess not all my friends who have stopped wearing a watch because they use the cell phone to tell time, will now have to revert back :-).

I thought the simpler the better. This is a typical battery flat…and the wristwatch does everything else…but tell time!

IMHO, the initial casio mobile was a great, 8yrs ago!

Does already one received such a mobilewatch, either the M300 or the M500? It often was delayed to deliver, I have the impression?! And in one blog it was already written of again a new model to arrive soon. Perhaps someone could write a little review, if she/he receives or received one, that would be very nice, thank you very much! Have a nice day!

I think after the end of may we should be asking if anyone has got one. Its got a FFC approved thing, and they are saying the end of may from hong kong they can release our units. I order a while ago, and am really looking foward to it. LOL and daniel what phone or watch DOESNT tell the time !!! lol lol it does ! i think its like 80 hours standby as well, which is better than the nokia thing im using now!

Is this available in the US?

I wish to everybody who already ordered this watch that all their wishes on this watch finally come true. Everytime I visited the website of the manufacturer, the watch was becoming better and better and was promised to ship soon, but never really was shipped. So I hope, by end of may they do not promise GPS and DVB-H/DMB as next features instead of really shipping. I apologize for my doubts and hopefully am wrong.

Hi, I just bought a m800 wristphone. Does anyone else have one yet? I decided to buy a WATCH-ET wristwatch protector to keep from banging it up.

Okay, SMS tech and this M500 are notorious for taking people’s money and never sending out goods… it is a scam or a hoax…

I have searched online and have found two available models.. I have bought one of them…

Both are made by DigitalRise… The m600i is a Dual band watch (not for USA): http://www.chinagrabber.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1402

The second is the D-Rise D187i which is tri-band and can work with T-mobile, At&T and Cingular… this is the one i got in around 7 days from this site: http://www.chinagrabber.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1404

Hope this helps and make sure you use a secure method of payment if considering the m500… it has been how many months and we’ve yet to see it materialize?

@ Daniel… google SMS TECH M500 and you will see it was a hoax… others makes sure that you buy from a reputable US-based source..

I have the M500 and it works great. One small problem is the volume is very low. With the handfree blue tooth it works great.

This is nice. I found that in babiken website, you can find more advanced versions of these watch phones. This could be a trend in future?

I so wished to come onto this forum and let all the doubters know that they have nothing to worry about.

I bought and paid for my M500 on the 1st December 2007. I recieved my M500 on the 18th December. I was over the moon except, the charger was faulty and so as the battery died, some 2 hours later, I could no longer use my brand new M500.
After contacting Elain, Alana and Gavin, a new one was shipped. Super!
I recieved my new charger (it was actually the cable that was faulty) during the first week or so of Jan 2008.

I began to explore and try all the different things my M500 was supposed to do. Then I discovered I had the ‘Friday Afternoon’ one. It didn’t have any Internet capabilities. Out of the 10 different menus, I only had 9.
I explained this to SMS and I was put intouch with Tony. “A new one will be dispatch to you on the 18th Jan 2008″ I was told.

Now, on the 20th March 2008, I still haven’t recieved my replacement.

I have asked for a refund….no reply.

I have asked for a replacement…..no reply.

I have asked for a reply….no reply.

It pains me sorely as in the beginning things looked great but…I’m sorry. I cannot reccommend that anyone purchases this product.

So, if you are thinking about it…..DON’T. It appears I have lost 1000 AUS Dollars with nothing to show for it.

However, if on the other hand SMS do send the watch, I will publish the same story, but with a happy ending!

The truth is that the Watch Mobile Cell Phones are a reality, and there are several models available in TEDACOS. The most comprehensive of them have digital camera for taking pictures and video, voice commands, vibrating alert, mp3 player, movies in mp4, bluetooth connection, internet access and GPRS Wap a surprising touch screen for management their duties and with handwriting character recognition. To see the full range of models available have to visit the website of TEDACOS, http://www.tedacos.com or see their videos demonstration http://www.youtube.es/tedacos

FYI definitely strange stuff going on with the m500 and the company
that supposedly sells them:

http://www.theinquirer.net/gb/inquirer/news/2007/10/30/site-claims-online-sales-right

I got this message just tonight (as a old member of the cell phone
watch forum):

———————–
To everyone who was a member of the forum on the prior domain
mycellwatch.com or m500.org or any other related discussion forum
domains:

As indicated in the email I sent some of you, I shut down the forum
and gave my domains to Gavin and his company per their demands, and
what I feel were threats toward me.

With that, I requested Gavin and his company stop harassing me and to
not contact me again, or I would contact the police and or FBI.

Unfortunately he seems to think that you (members and many already
customers of their company) are not entitled to know why I shut down
the site and how I felt about the conversation and statements made to
me while speaking with Terry and Gavin.

I wanted to let you all know that I have contacted my local police
department and the FBI and made a report regarding all of this. They
have requested the list of members on my forum and I have provided
them with the user name and email addresses’ that signed up.

Please be aware should you receive an email from the FBI in regards
to this, that it is not a joke, they got your email address from me.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to email me at
this address:

~Rick (aka TC)

Note to Gavin or Terry:
Gavin, Terry, I’m sure you are included in this list of recipients,
and although I do not know which email it is, I want you to know that
I too am serious and feel very threatened by you and Terry and will
continue to advise the FBI and local authorities to protect myself
and any of the members of this forum or customers of yours.

Please stop!

On a lighter and more positive note, I bought a M800 from
http://surprisinggift.com/ for about $250 out the door and it got to
me in 3 days from China to the States. It is really nice for what it
is. It shipped in a nice package and came with two Lithium batteries
and a stereo bluetooth headphones (cool that it is stereo, but the
cords tangle like crazy). Probably want to replace the bluetooth
adapter. I use AT&T and all I had to do was drop my sim card in it
to work.
