Jini is about the creation of distributed systems. I know, I’ve spelled it like ABC’..!
Jini is to be revived by an Apache incubator project known as River. As per Frank Sommers , most of Sun’s Jini codebase and associated documentation will soon migrate to that site. It would be really interesting to see how it improves the Jini adoption. Here is a nice tutorial on Jini 2.1.
