Setting up GMail Account on your O2 XDA II Mini

Here is the procedure to setup GMail Email account on your O2 XDA II Mini Mobile Phone:-

Gmail can be a little unreliable, but these setting should work:

Create a new account in your inbox.
Server information:
incoming mail: pop.gmail.com:995
outgoing mail: smtp.gmail.com:465
Domain: leave empty

In “options”
Tick “require SSL connection”
Tick “outoing mail requires authentication”

*** After a while , if you are getting an error “Unable to download messages”, Delete the current account and create another one with the same settings. This is the only work around for the moment! ;)
